Infection Prevention for Alternate Care Sites

With the the large number of COVID-19 cases in the United States, and hospitals at capacity, there may be alternative care sites, such as mobile clinics, where either COVID-19 overflow is placed or where non-COVID-19 related treatment takes place. Limiting the spread of aerosol particles lowers the probability of transmission. The CDC has released this guide which advises on the physical infrastructure (HVAC, storage, spacing), services (food, laundry, pharmacy), and patient care (staffing, PPE) needed to accommodate these patients.
